Learning Path Intent

Option 1: HYBRID INSTRUCTION

This option will provide your child with in-person and at home live instruction 4 days a week. Students will follow their assigned cohort schedule. The Green cohort will meet Mondays and Wednesdays. The Gold cohort will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On non-cohort days, students will have live instruction at home for at least 30 minutes with independent or group learning throughout the class period. On Fridays, there will be work assigned and live office hours for students to check in with their teachers about assignments. On some Fridays, certain classes will be brought to campus to build community and participate in class activities.

  • Google Classroom will be the digital learning management system and serve as the primary access point for all instruction and materials.
  • Students will follow a consistent daily schedule that will provide engaging online instruction, including virtual two-way interactions with teachers and classmates as well as some independent ( asynchronous) learning experiences. 
  • Attendance will be recorded when students are physically in school and during virtual days

Students who select the Hybrid Learning Path may opt to switch to fully virtual, but once switched, students will commit to remaining fully virtual for the rest of the year.

OPTION 2: VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION

This option will provide your child with at home live instruction 4 days a week. While learning from home, students will have live instruction for at least 30 minutes with independent or group learning throughout the class period. On Fridays, there will be work assigned and live office hours for students to check in with their teachers about assignments.

  • Students will follow a consistent daily schedule that will provide engaging online instruction, including virtual two-way interactions with teachers and classmates as well as independent ( asynchronous) learning experiences .
  • Assignments may vary to in-person assignments due to the virtual format.
  • Attendance in virtual class live sessions is required and will be recorded daily.
  • Grades will be assigned as if students were in a physical classroom with robust teacher feedback.
  • All classes, including electives, will be offered virtually

Students who select the Virtual Learning path will commit to remaining fully virtual for the rest of the year.
