James Duggan - Class of 2005
Saint John's Catholic Prep would like to congratulation James Duggan, SJCP Class of 2005, for being inducted into the St. John Regional Catholic School Wildcat Hall of Fame.

James D. Duggan, Alumnus of St. John Regional Catholic School, Class of 2001, was inducted into Wildcat Hall of Fame at the SJRCS sports banquet. 
Upon graduation from SJRCS, he received a Knott Scholarship to attend St. John at Prospect Hall. Jimmy played baseball throughout his 4 years, primarily as a first baseman and pitcher. Jimmy was co-Salutatorian of the Class of 2005 at Saint John's Catholic Prep, and accepted an academic and athletic scholarship to George Washington University, where he majored in Business Administration.
A pitcher for the GW Colonials, Jimmy was a baseball 4-year Letterman. He received his BBA from George Washington University in 2009. Jimmy went on to Duke University to earn an MBA. Jimmy has worked for Kaiser Permanente as a Financial Consultant and Capital Planning Analyst, The United States Secret Service as an Internal Consultant, and is presently employed by ZS as a Consultant. He also volunteers as a Consultant for Compass Pro Bono.
While Jimmy did not accept a contract with an independent minor league team after graduation from GW, he has continued to play baseball in adult wood bat leagues: the Boonsboro Pirates (2009-2010), and the Oakton Orioles of the Federal Baseball League (2011 to present). For the 2019 season, he is serving as the pitching coach for School Without Walls high school in Washington, D.C. Jimmy is shown in the picture with his wife, Mary, son, Adrian, and his parents. Jimmy is eternally grateful to his mother and father for sending him to SJRCS and driving him to all his practices and games. #SJRCSPROUD
