Students Maintain Campus Flower Beds

Fall is a perfect time for flower bed clean up and the AP Environmental Science class was doing just that. They removed the marigolds and sunflowers, which were grown in the garden bed by the entrance of the school. Another garden bed was dug along the exit driveway and over 400 daffodil bulbs were planted in these beds. A dozen Stella de Oro Daylilies were also planted, which will provide a sea of yellow-gold color along the campus driveway. Another bed was dug along the back fence to house 25 plants donated by Potomac Garden Center including 10 hydrangea plants, 10 roses, and 5 Spirea plants.
