Mrs. Bernadette Miller's first virtual assignment to her Art 1 and Art 2 classes was to read about Mo Willems, a number one New York Times best-selling author and illustrator. He is currently running "The Small Works Project," an effort to show how small works add up. Any "good work" that he highlights gets a "small work" of art from him. Students were asked to respond with their thoughts on the project and encouraged to submit their small works. SJCP student, Chanelle Lee's small work was featured on the Kennedy Center website on September 30. In addition to her story being featured, she will receive a small work of art by Mo Willems. Congratulations Chanelle, small works really do add up!
