April 29 was the start of Anxiety and Stress Relief Awareness Week planned by the SGA. Monday each class was challenged with spending the first five minutes focusing on inner reflection strategies including prayer, deep breathing, coloring, and other relaxing activities. On Tuesday music was shared over the PA system between classes. On Wednesday, students had the opportunity to attend a yoga session taught by our English teacher Ms. Baum. Thursday was a screen-free, no homework day, with anxiety management prayers sessions during lunch. And, Friday students received their yearbooks and an ice cream treat.
