Saint John's Catholic Prep celebrated the junior class on April 11, 2018, with a Saint John's tradition, Junior Ring Day. In the morning, the Class of 2019 gathered for breakfast at Dutch's Daughter Restaurant. After their meal, the students headed to campus, received their rings and were officially named upperclassmen. The Class of 2019 is a great group of students with very promising futures. We know they will be great leaders next school year. SJCP would like to thank everyone who joined us for our ceremony especially our school families, Dr. Greg Rausch, retired Deacon from St. Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor Catholic Church, and Mayor Michael O'Connor who delivered the keynote speech. Mayor O'Connor is a Saint John's graduate and a member of the Class of 1984. He is also a member of our school's Board of Trustees. Michael took the time to remind our Class of 2019 to find their path and their passion in something they truly love. They do not need to have a full plan right now and it is okay to be nervous about the future, BUT what they need to remember is no matter where their path takes them, new doors will be opened and they need to be willing to explore. Thank you, Mayor O'Connor, for returning to your alma mater and inspiring the Class of 2019!
