On April 13, 2021, Jim Plamondon was honored for his years of service as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Saint John's Catholic Prep. Jim has served as chairman for seven years and will continue serving as a board member, as Pat Crowley is the newly elected chairman. Jim has represented our school before County and State officials during a critical time for our school. He and his family have provided significant gifts to SJCP, helping with the development of our endowment, encouraging others to give, assisting in leading us during the pandemic, and helping successfully navigate the past seven years. He and his family remain steadfast in their support of Catholic education. In recognization of his service, he was presented by Frederick Mayor Michael O'Connor (Saint John's Class of 1984) with a Mayor’s Citation for his years of service. He received from County Executive Jan Gardner a proclamation of April 13 as Jim Plamondon Day. And, Dr. Powell presented him with an official citation from Maryland Senator Ron Young from the Maryland General Assembly. We appreciate and thank Jim for all he has done for Saint John’s Catholic Prep!
