Honors Biology Spring Planting

Students in the Honors Biology class planted hundreds of grown-from-seed marigolds in the beds along the school's driveway. As any farmer from this area knows, you’re not supposed to plant annuals until after Mother’s Day for fear of frost. After looking at the forecast and seeing a moderating trend and rain the next two days, the class decided to take a chance and are hoping to have some gold blooms in time for Graduation festivities on campus. We want to send the Seniors off with some green and gold!
