About Our Head of School, Mr. Will Knotek
On February 17, 2021, the Saint John’s Catholic Prep Board of Trustees appointed Mr. Will Knotek as Head of School, effective July 1, 2021.
Will is uniquely poised to provide the leadership we need to continue our distinguished history of excellence in Catholic high school education. For the past three years, Will has served as our school’s Principal and has been responsible for initiating numerous academic programs as well as leading our school’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to coming to Saint John’s Catholic Prep, Mr. Knotek was the Assistant Principal at St. John Regional Catholic School in Frederick, Maryland for three years. He also served as a social studies teacher and Department Chair, as well as the Director of Academic Integrity at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland.
Will received his bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education from Boston College and earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University.
Will’s Catholic faith as well as his education, experience, vision, and energy provide the ideal background we need in a leader able to enhance our school’s mission and reputation for excellence.
