Faculty

Math Teacher

Saint John’s Catholic Preparatory School, an independent Catholic coed high school, seeks an experienced, professional, and energetic full-time math teacher beginning August 2019.  A bachelor’s degree in math or closely related field is required, but a master’s degree is preferred. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach all levels of mathematics, from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus AB/BC.

All applicants should possess a passion for teaching and the ability to collaborate with colleagues. Three or more years of teaching experience is preferred. In addition to teaching, there is a strong preference for someone who will be involved in our extensive co-curricular program, whether in athletics or school clubs/organizations.

Art Teacher

Saint John’s Catholic Preparatory School, an independent Catholic coed high school, seeks an experienced, professional, and energetic full-time fine arts teacher beginning August 2019.  A bachelor’s degree in art or closely related field is required, but a master’s degree is preferred. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach a variety of different art classes, including but not limited to: Art 1-3, Digital Photography, Graphic Art and Design, and AP Art Studio.

All applicants should possess a passion for teaching and the ability to collaborate with colleagues. Three or more years of teaching experience is preferred. In addition to teaching, the art teacher is responsible for moderating the Art Club and the school’s chapter of the National Art Honor Society.
