Congratulations to freshman Addison Suit for earning her Girl Scout Silver Award. The Silver Award requirement is 50 hours of service and a project that can be passed on to others. She made pillowcase dresses for girls in an orphanage in Haiti and created a booklet so others can make the dresses as well. Addison received the contact at the orphanage from her grandmother, who serves as the mission president at her church. With the help of the ladies at Addison's grandmother's church, they were able to donate 60 dresses. Addison is excited to join the Haitian Sensation club at school, share her experience, and continue to help those in Haiti. She is continuing to pursue the Girl Scout Gold Award.
