St. John’s Catholic Prep (SJCP) is committed to maintaining the privacy of your personal information which maybe provided as part of your visiting this website, or filing out certain information requested by SJCP. As part of our commitment this policy sets forth our data collection, storage, usage and Internet practices for date collected on this website. Use of Personal Information

We do not collect any personal information unless you voluntarily provide it by sending us e-mail, participating in a survey, or completing an on-line form. Personal information submitted will not be transferred to any non-affiliated third parties unless expressly authorized by the individual at the time of collection. When a user submits personally identifiable information it is used only for the purpose stated at the time of collection.


Where consent for the use and disclosure of personal information is required, the school will seek consent from the appropriate person. In the case of a student’s personal information, the school will seek the consent from the student and/ or parent with the legal authority to consent depending on the circumstances and the student’s mental ability and maturity to understand the consequences of the proposed use and disclosure.

This website takes every precaution to protect our users' personal information.  We employ security policies and measures to protect your information from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage.  Whenever users are asked to submit personally identifiable information via online forms, for registration, or for online purchase, the transmission of that information is encrypted. Other transmissions such as email may not utilize such secure transmission techniques and you should not transmit information you consider highly sensitive via less secure methods. Information provided by you that you opt to be included in any directories on our website, such as the alumni directory, will be accessible to other members of our online community. This information is not accessible to the general public and you may opt in or opt out of these directories at any point. We may provide contact information to class agents, reunion organizers and other groups directly affiliated to SJCP in order that they can contact you about events.

We strive to be in compliance with the laws of the countries where our families’ data is collected and stored. .  Collected information is stored on servers in the United States.  As such, SJCP looks to comply with U.S. laws, such as the applicable provisions of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related regulations.
