Mock Trial: Last night in a stunning victory, the Saint John's Mock Trial team defeated TJ High School in the semi-final competition in Frederick County. Witnesses Hannah Geerlings, Daniel Valentin Morales, and Austin Lepri gave compelling performances on the witness stand, and our three attorneys for the prosecution, Aubrey Rose, Evan Giangrande, and Matt Crum, did an excellent job directing and cross-examining witnesses. The entire team should be commended for defeating TJ and advancing to the county finals tonight against Urbana. This is the second year our team has made it to finals, and although it will be a tough competition tonight, this year's team is incredibly poised and polished. Please come out tonight to the Frederick County Courthouse for the final competition in Frederick County. Remember you are not allowed to bring cell phones into the courthouse and you must be inside the courthouse before 5pm, when the doors are locked.
